When calling upon Death as La Santisima Muerte we will do this through Catholic prayers, always asking God’s permission to invoke her.

Santa Muerte is a feminine Holy trinity.

La Blanca is the celestial one, eldest and purest of the three.

She sits at the right hand of God and she is the one most devotees begin with. Peace, cleansing, healing and purifying are her domain.

Her highest blessing is a long and healthy life and the peaceful death of old age with a content heart. Her purity is high.

Invocational Prayer

Almighty God, before your Divine Presence, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I ask permission to invoke the Santisima Muerte.

Holy and Powerful Mother, at this moment I beg for your presence and intervention.

Through the great power, which God has given you, I beg you to hear my prayers and grant me all the favors I ask of you until the last day, hour, and moment when the Divine Majesty shall call me before his divine presence.

Santisima Muerte, beloved of my hearts, do not abandon me without your protection.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen

Prayer for La Blanca

Santa Muerte, La Blanca,

Most Holy Death of the White Robe, eldest of the Three, you who sit at the right hand of God, hear our prayers.

You who grant the peaceful death of old age and heal the sick, through the great power, which God has given you, we ask you to remove all sickness from our lives.

Niña Blanca, with your holy scales, bring balance to our bodies, minds, and souls and protect us from all illness.

Santa Muerte La Blanca, Holiest of Archangels, cover us with your pure robe, we pray.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Prayer for Health

Santisima Muerte, La Blanca, you have the power to heal all illnesses or inflict them.

I come before you, begging for your assistance. You know the cure for all sickness and can administer it to free men from their suffering.

Oh Holy Mother, I beg you to have compassion on me (or for whom you are praying) and grant me (or him/her) a miracle, for the pains that I (or he/she) suffer(s).

Amen

(from The New Orleans Chapel of Santisima Muerte)

Prayer for Cleansing/Uncrossing

Santisima Muerte, La Blanca, with your very presence you can break all hexes and evil spells.

We ask, oh Holy Mother, that with your scythe you separate from me (or for whom you are praying) that which crosses, that which causes illness, and that which is unclean.

Purify me (or him/her), oh Miraculous Muerte, by the great power, which God has given you. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen

Hourglass Prayer

Santisima Muerte, La Blanca, you have the power to grant the peaceful death of old age.

La Huesuda, I beg that you intercede on my behalf and grant unto me (or for whom you are praying) the precious gift of more time in this life.

Please, merciful Archangel of God, turn again your hourglass for me (or him/her) so that I (or he/she) may have the honor of bearing witness to your mercy and power.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen

(from The New Orleans Chapel of Santisima Muerte)

Closing prayer

Oh Glorious Santisima Muerte, I beseech you lovingly, that with the great power which God has given you, you remove all darkness and evil from my life.

Protect my home and my loved ones, and fill my life with the grace of your presence. Santisima Muerte, beloved of my heart,

do not abandon me without your protection.

Amen

Ending Prayers

Santisima Muerte, Our Most Holy Mother of the world, I beseech you lovingly to protect those who carry your prayers and devoutly honor you.

Cover us with your mantle, and guard us with your scythe, that our enemies both human and subtle may not have dominion over us.

Protect us from bad luck, disease, and envy; witchcraft, hexes, and curses; lightning, fires, and earthquakes; demons, evil spirits, and phantoms; evil eyes, evil hearts, and evil minds; cover us, oh Holy Mother, so that no evil can see us, no evil can touch us, and no evil can follow us.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen

(from The New Orleans Chapel of Santisima Muerte)

Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of La Niña Blanca

O Most Highly Blessed Niña Blanca, My Mother, My Consolation, always listening, with your Heart of Mercy, ever caring, with your skinny hands, ever consoling, please hear my prayers.

As your child, I implore your intercession with The Father Almighty. So he’ll receive my petition I place before you today with understanding and compassion, especially… (special intention).

I am comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your help. I trust in your gentle care and intercession, for those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help us all, Holy Mother, to uplift our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace in your loving arms forever.
Amen.
